The Peru Travel Guide

Getting To Peru

Those traveling to Peru from both Europe and North America will arrive in Peru at Lima’s airport, Jorge Chavez International. Many cities in the United States offer direct flights to Peru’s capital city while those flying from the United Kingdom or Ireland will require a layover in another European city or somewhere in the United States, perhaps Miami. From Australia or New Zealand, flights land in Buenos Aires, Argentina and passengers must connect to another flight that goes to Lima.

On land, bus service to Peru is available from Ecuador, Chile, and Bolivia, usually from major cities like La Paz or Quito.
